ArcelorMittal Dofasco is a supplier of high quality flat rolled steels.  Strategically located in the City of Hamilton at the western end of Lake Ontario on the St. Lawrence Seaway, ArcelorMittal Dofasco is based in one of Canada’s busiest Great Lakes seaports with easy access to markets in Canada, the U.S. and around the world. The company’s 750 acre steelmaking complex, home since the company was founded in 1912, features state of the art facilities that are among the most efficient, flexible and technologically advanced in North America.

The Tubular Products Division of ArcelorMittal is one of the world's largest producers of pipe and tube products, servicing markets around the world in 12 different countries. We produce and market virtually the full spectrum of tubing products in an unparalleled range of sizes. Canada is the home to five Tubular Products Facilities including Woodstock, London, Hamilton, Brampton and LaSalle.   With facilities founded over one hundred years ago, ArcelorMittal’s Tubular Products in Canada continues to value teamwork, commitment, and pride.

 

Mines mines

ArcelorMittal Mines Canada is one of the main Canadian suppliers of iron ore products destined for world steel markets, producing almost 40% of total Canadian output. Operating in the mining sector and in the primary processing industry, the Company owns and operates impressive facilities in Quebec, on the Northshore of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. It extracts the crude ore from two important open-pit mines - the first in Mont-Wright, the largest of its kind in North America, and the second at Fire Lake. The company’s mining complex in Mont-Wright includes a concentrator, gigantic shops as well as an automated system for loading concentrate onto trains. A 420-kilometre railway links this site to the Port-Cartier industrial complex which includes one of the world’s most productive pellet plants, a privately owned seaport, railway shops and the company’s administrative headquarters.  ArcelorMittal Mines Canada’s annual production totals nearly 15 million tons of iron ore concentrate and more than nine million tons of iron oxide pellets.

 

Long long

Specialized in the long product sector, ArcelorMittal Montréal plays a key role in ArcelorMittal’s activities in North America.  It produces semi-finished products, such as slabs and billets, for internal use and the export market, and manufactures a wide range of high-quality long steel products sold in Canada and the U.S. for applications in the automotive and construction industries. Its main production facilities are located in and around Contrecœur, Quebec, and include a direct reduction plant, two steel plants, a bar mill and a wire rod mill. Other satellite facilities include a bar mill in Longueuil as well as wire mills in Montreal and Hamilton, in Canada. The company also operates four scrap processing facilities, two in Quebec, one in New Brunswick and one in Ontario.
